About:China Train

Are there any Express trains or luxury coaches running from Hong Kong to Guangzhou daily? Which stations are they located in Hong Kong and Guangzhou? Also their costs. Will they be crowded on October 9? Is advanced booking advisable? Thank you.

Yes, there are through trains and direct coaches available from Hong Kong to Guangzhou daily. By coach, you could find the bus at Mongkok or Jordan. It takes around 2.5hrs. While through trains are departing from Hung Hom train station in Kowloon and reach Guangzhou East Train Station. You could buy the tickets directly after your arrival since around 12 through trains are operating on the route.
