About:Hong Kong International Airport

Dear Sirs,

If I need to travel from L' Hotel South to Hong Kong Exhibition Centre (HKECC), Wan Chai daily from 10 May 2011 to 15 May 2011 every day, should I buy Octopus Card for the bus service (I was told that there is no MTR for this route). By the way, what is Octopus Card ? How much does it cost if three persons will stay at Hong Kong from 9 May to 16 May 2011 ? What is the bus no from L' Hotel South to HKECC and where I need to stop, and distance to walk to HKECC.

Thank you so much for your help.

An octopus card is better for you. Octopus Card is a multi usage electronic card, it is part of the electronic charging system in Hong Kong. At present, there are three types of Octopus Card for residents and visitors, these are On-Loan Octopus, Sold Octopus and Airport Express Travel Pass. Well, you can buy the On-loan octopus card with which you could have a discount of the bus fare. It is hard to evaluate the cost you three will spend with the card in the 8 days.
Well, from the hotel, you can walk to Nam Long Shan Road, Wong Chuk Hang Road to take bus 71 and get off at Queen Mary Hospital, Pok Fu Lam Road, then transfer to bus 40M to Wan Chai Ferry Pier, then walk to the exhibition center.
