I'm planning to go to Chengdu for 4 days and thinking of going to see the giant buddha, my problem is that we have a 9 months old girl and I would like to know if it's very crowded end of April as I know that the queue can be very long, and it would be a bad idea to be standing for hours in the sun.Thank you so much for your helpMarie

It is okay to go there in end of April, avoid weekends. The May Day holiday starts from May 1st. It is better to go there before that day.
