About:Independent China Tours

I'll be going to Beijing, Chengde & Tianjin from 23 Oct - 30 Oct 2011.
I think it's almost winter, right?

Will be cold? What's the temperature? Various websites gave different degrees.
Do i need thick coat or a light sweater is enough?
Do i have to bring an umbrella?

Pls advise. Thank u very much :)

Hi, the whole Oct. should be the best time to visit Beijing, Chengde and Tianjin. Winter will not visit these cities until later Nov. So, you could enjoy the comfortable climate in fall when traveling during that period. But, the early morning and late night may be a little cold so that a light sweater or jacket is needed. Although it will be little rainfall during that period, you'd better to take a unbrella in case.
