About:Chongqing

We (two adults and two children, 7 & 9 years old) are planning to spend some days in Shenzhen. Do someone knows if there are nice beach places for swimming?
How is the weather in July and August there? Like in Shanghai - very hot?

The most beautiful beach in Shenzhen is the Xichong Beach in Nan'ao Town. But it's a little far from the downtown. The transportation from the downtown to this beach is not very convenient. You can go to Yinhu Bus Terminus to take the Bus E11 to go to Nan'an Bus Terminus and then transfer to the local minibus to go to the Xichong Beach. The whole trip needs about 1 to 2 hours. By the way, the Bus E11 passes Dameisha and Xiaomeisha. They both are nice beaches. But still Xichong Beach is more beautiful and cleaner than them. Yes, the weather there is very hot. Also it rains very often.
