Hello,What are the easiest and least expensive ways to get to Beijing Railway West?  Does the metro train run there? Can we purchase tickets from Beijing to Chengdu and have a stopover in Xi'an on the way?

Do you mean from the airport to the west railway station? If so, you can take the airport shuttle bus line 7 directly from the airport to this train station. The metro train doesn't run to the train station. If you hold a through ticket, I am afraid that you can not get off the train in Xi'an on the way.
