I mailed a Chinese friend a sea shell I found here in the US. Her package is at the post office in TianJin. It has been opened and she saw it but they want me to send a form that says the shell has been inspected and quarantined before they will let her have it. Here is what she said:
" I 've seen your letter in post office today,the sand dollar is so beautiful,it's my first time to see it ,I like it very much !But they don't give me the parcel you sent ,they told me if I want the parcel ,you must show the sand dollar is safe with the inspection and quarantine certificates".
How can I get the proper forms? It's one tiny sand dollar?
