About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Hi!
I am a British citizen and has a valid visa to stay in Malaysia until Nov2o11. I am going to visit China on June1 to June8 but the travel agent who arranges the tour for me has asked me to apply the visa personelly at the China Embassy in KL as they cannot submit the application for me. They told me it is a new regulation imposes by the China Embassy since 16thMarch11.Is this true? Can I have my visa on the same day if I apply personelly as I am staying in Penang.

It is not true, travel agency can apply for China visa for their clients through CVASC in KL, China embassy in KL doesn't accept China visa application from ordinary passport holders since December 16, 2009.

You can pick up your visa on the same day of application if you apply rush service. Please read the information on this page carefully.

sorry to miss Linda, CVASC kuala Lumpur was start ask foreigner who would like apply china visa need come to their service centre personelly,and they also require for go to china embassy take an interview with china embassy official.this regulation was started on 6 April 2011.
