About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Hi

I have a british passport and hkid card. i am flying from singapore to Gzhou airport then i need to get another diff airline china southern to hk (i may need to check in but i wont have any luggages) will i need a transit visa as i dont want to waste paying visa fees. i will not be going out of the airport as the flight is the same day but there is a few hours wait.

You don't need a visa for the stopver in Guangzhou airport if you won't go out of the airport.
