I have 6 elderly couples (in their 70s) and 3 ladies (in their 30s).  What are the recommended places for us to go?  I saw the review here that Minsk World, ShenZhen Happy Valley are Theme Parks (does Theme park here means filled with rides? if yes, then don't think these elderly folks would enjoy, right?) Please advice.

Yes, more rides. If you came with ederly people, I think China Splendid or Window of the World is better. You can also go to the Eastern Overseas Chinese Town in Dameisha, althrough it is a bit far from the city center.
