There were 4 fires happened in the Forbidden city in 1406, 1420, 1441 and 1597. The biggest fire should be the fire in 1597, during the fire the Hall of Supreme Harmony, Hall of Central Harmony, Hall of Preserved Harmony, Palace of Heavenly Purity,  Palace of Earthly Tranquility and  Palace of Tranquil Longevity were all destroyed.
