we are arriving hong kong at 7:40am. we are staying at guangdong hotel. any suggestions because we plan to go to macau. how can we go there? is one day enough to have a tour at macau?

You can just take a ferry from Hk China ferry terminal near your hotel to macau, which only takes about 1 hour for a single way. One-day is enough for you to visit the highlights of Macau.
