are the trains reliable and cheap or are taxis a better form of transport to see the sights?

Trains are cheaper and better. Taxi is expensive in Hong Kong. If you are 3-4 perople, you can take taxi to Ocean Park or from the park to Wanchai. It would costs about 250HKD I guess from the hotel to Disneyland.0
