About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I have been working in Dalian, China for several years. My contract will soon come to an end when my residence permit will be cancelled. I would like to spend more time in China on a tourist visit.

My question is, do you know if I come to Busan am I likely to be able to get a tourist visa and if so do you know the maximum stay they would grant and can I get multiple entry visa? Obviously I do not have a Korean ARC.

Would you advise using a visa agent or applying in person?

Mr.Saunders, it is hard to answer your question, as I know, China consulate in Busan can issue China visa to aliens whose ARC doesn't have 6 months validity, but you don't have a Korean ARC at all. Maybe you can get a single entry tourist visa with 30 days stay duration in Busan if the visa office considers your previous residence permit. You have to apply for visa through one of the travel agencies designated by China consulate in Busan. The consulate only accepts application from diplomatic/service/official passport holders.
