About:Jiuzhaigou National Park

I am planning to travel to Chengdu on 17 October for one month. Is this a good time to visit Jiuzhaigou by bus. I was told that in winter the roads are slippery. I am a solo traveler, is it safe to walk around the parks. Would you please recommend a reasonable good and cheap hotel to stay at Jiuzhaigou park so it is convenient for me to walk around and explore this natural beauty ?

It is a good time in Mid-October. Yes, do not go there by bus in winter. Usually, it is not allowed to stay within the park. There are youth hostels around the entrance the valley. Do not travel alone when it is getting dark.

October is fine to travel by bus. There are youth hostels and big hotels that you can find on simple internet searches. There is one great home stay - Zhuo Ma's Jiuzhaigou Experience / home stay.
