About:Chinese Embassy in Indonesia

Hi,

My parents are thinking of going to China with my in laws in late June 2011.
My understanding is they will fly from Sydney to HK/Macau (I am not 100% sure), then will be on an 8-days 7-nights tour around nearby major cities in China, with Shanghai being the last city before flying back to Sydney.

My parents are Indonesian Passport holders.
They are currently in Jakarta.

My questions are:
1. What visa do they need to apply for: single, double or multiple entry?
2. Where is best for them to apply for the visa, in Jakarta, or in Sydney (considering their passport is Indonesian but they will be flying out from & returning to Sydney)?

Thank you very much in advance.

1. They need to apply for single entry tourist visa to China, they doesn't need a visa to HK/Macau
2. Jakarta is the best place for them to apply for the visa because their passport in Indonesian.
