I AM AMERICAN RESIDENT BUT SENEGALESE CITIZEN, I HAVE A CHINESE VISA, DO I NEED A VISA TO TRANSIT TO HONG KONG FIRST FOR 3 HRS BEFORE GOING TO GUANZHOU, I AM NOT GOING OUTSIDE THE AIRPORT

You don't need a visa to transit to Hong Kong for 3 hours if you won't leave the airport.
