About:China Great Wall

Hello! Is it possible to go to the Great Wall at Simitai in early April 2011 or is it closed for renovations? If it is closed where do you recommend to see the wall without too many tourists on a one day trip from Beijing?

Impossible to visit Simatai for the renovation. If this is your first time to see the Great Wall and you do not want so many tourist, I think Mutianyu is a nice choice. Jinshanling and Jiankou has fewer visitors but Mutianyu is comparatively well preserved.
