About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

I am presently working in Australia on a Permanent Resident Visa and have been invited by a company to go to Beijing for a visit (All expenses Paid by the company) for 3 days only and explore the possibility of working with their Beijing Branch on a Sr. Position and would like to clarify the following;

1. Do I need to apply for a visit visa? Can I apply for a visa upon arrival? How long is the visa processing and how much?
2. My Philippine Passport will Expire in June this year 2011, will that be an issue?
3. What are the requirements that I need to submit and also the company? Thanks.

Yes, China visa application requires your passport with at least 6 months (more if you want a work visa) validity, you need to renew your passport first. And you need to apply for a business visa to China in advance. General processing takes 4 working days from CVASC, visa for single entry visa is AUD 88.5. Detailed requirements can be found as a link on the top of this page.
