About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

I have adopted two girls from China...one is 8 years old now and one is 4 years old now. I have all the documents that we received when we adopted them and they have a Canadian Citizenshiip, and they have their Canadian passport....but the only thing we were given for a "birth certificate" is a large folder with a write up in it saying when they were vorn and that their biological parents are unknown. Is there anyways to get a small birth certificate for them to be able to carry with them (as I do) once they are older. A birth certificiate is needed for most everything and it would be more convenient to have a small wallet size birth certificate. Please let me know if this is possible and if so, how I go about doing it. Thank you

Mrs.Sherry MacIsaac, you have to enquire the agency which is responsible for the adoption. The China embassy/consulate in Canada can't help you.
