The facilities on both kinds of trains are almost the same. But the speed is a little different. G trains are usually faster than D trains. Besides, G trains are only operating on several routes at present such as Xian-Zhengzhou, Guangzhou-Wuhan, Hangzhou-Shanghai and so on.
