I want to visit great wall within a short trip. Would you please suggest me how could I plan it? How long it will take to go to great wall from Beijing?

If the traffic condition is good, it takes within one hour from Deshengmen to Badaling by 919 bus. I start to clim at 10am and go back to Beijing at 13:00. I didn't spend too much time there. So, you can arrange your own plan. There is slideway and cable. I suggest you take one way slideway or cable.
