Mr. Summersnow/Mr. Frank/Ms. SaraThank you all for the info,Are prices in the two departmental stores near the hotel about the same as the silk market? I take it there is no need to bargain in the department stores?What woud Taxi cost to go to the Silk Market from the Double Tree Hotel and how long would it take.Where is a good place for jeans? Appreciate recomendation on brand and price?Any recommendation for look alike golf clubs?Thx again

The price is more expensive in the two department stores than the same in the silk market. Yes, there is generally no bargain in the department stores. The taxi fare would be around CNY50 from the hotel to Silk Street and it takes about 30 minutes. For branded jeans, you can go to Wangfujing shopping street to have a look.  Beijing Golf Club is a nice one which is at the east coast of Chaobai River, Shunyi Town, Beijing City.
