About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

Hi There,

I am a resident of UAE (sharjah) however, my office wishes to transfer me to their operation in Ningbo, Zhejiang. They have a branch in Ningbo Free Zone. I was informed to contact the Dubai consulate for processing of an employment visa but my question is how do I go about this process? Everytime I call the switchboard somebody tells me this is not possible but my office in China tells me that it must be.

I am also told that if I travel to China under a visit visa it cannot be transferred into an employment visa while I am there. Apparently I need to go to China on a different visa category.

If anybody can offer me some help that would be great.

Yes, you must apply for a work visa from Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Dubai.

You can prepare all required documents for a work visa first and submit them to Chinese consulate in Dubai in person.
