About:Hong Kong MTR

Hello,
I was wondering if the Octopus card is usable for the MTR intercity through Train? Specifically the route from Hung Hom to Guang Zhou (China) with the HK$190 one way?

It seems that the card could be not used to pay for the train ticket from Hung Hom to Guangzhou.
