About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

I am arriving in PVG at 2 am and then taking a connecting flight at 7:35 am. Is there a lounge I can sleep at for a few hours? It seems a waste to leave PVG and come back in just a few hours. Please advise!

Will you make an international transfer at Pudong Airport? If so, it is suggested that you stay in the airside where you could find comfortable chairs or VIP lounge for a rest.

I am coming in from HKG, and the flight lands around 2 am. And then I am flying from PVG to Shenyang at 7:35 am. (2 different segments/tickets, so not sure if I can stay air side.) Are the lounges still open? Don't I need to check in again to access the air side lounge?

Since your second journey is a domestic airline, you have to go through customs and immigration at Pudong Airport. After that, check in your next journey, which will be available around 06:00. So, upon arrival, I think you could stay at the international arrival hall for 3~4 hours.
