I live in Dallas.  Can I mail my visa application to the Consulate office in Houston?

It's true that residents in Dallas, Texas should apply for China visa from the consulate office in Houston, however, Mailed applications are not accepted by the consulate. If you cannot come in person, you may entrust someone else or a travel/visa agent to drop off your application at the visa office of the Consulate
