About:China Visa Application in USA

Hi! My husband and I(a Chinese) will be visiting Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Macau from 12-18 March 2011. I would like some info regarding getting a Chinese visa for my husband.He's an American and he resides in New Jersey,US. Can he get a single-entry Chinese visa in one day? May I know where he can get this visa? Due to time constraint, can he go and get the visa on the day he applies for it? How much does it cost? Please advise. Thanks for the info.

He should apply for a China tourist visa from Consulate General of China in New York. No visa application can be done through mail, email, Internet, or any express delivery service such as UPS, FedEx, etc. Visa application should be submitted and picked up by the applicant or someone else entrusted. Visa fee is US$140 and application presented before 12:00am may be picked up between 2:30pm-3:00pm on the same day. And he needs to pay extra US$30 for same day pickup service.
