About:Heavenly Stems & Earthly Branches

Hi ..

I'm currently reading Master Tan's "Codes from Heaven". In his example, a fictitious individual was born on Lunar Calender 20th August 2009 at 10.30. This then Becomes JI CHOU (H6,E2) ... Could anyone be kind enough to explain how this came about as the book doesn't really explain it.

To Clarify, i was born on (Lunar) 29th of Feb, 1972 at 10pm .. What then is my chinese year???

Ji Chou is just from Heavenly stems and Earthly Branches, from which your Chinese year should be Xin Hai.

Sorry, but i dont think 1972 is Xin Hai .. i think thats for 1971 .. i think its Ren Zi ... am i correct?
