All of the Great walls are located in the mountain areas far away from the city center, not too much pollution in fact. Fog comes there just under the natural conditions - when the humidity in the air reaches to a certain content and the temperature reduced to a certain degree. The best time to visit the Great Wall is in spring or autumn when there is little rain.
