About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

My wife and I are flying from Toronto to Beijing, doing some tours and ending up in Hong kong where our son works and then flying back to Beijing to come home. Will we need a single entry visa or multiple entry visa? We will be in your country for the month of April.

You are exempted from visa to Hong Kong for 90 days. So in this case, you only need to apply for a double entry visa to mainland China.
