About:China City Guide

We are going to be in Shanghai from March 14th -23rd. We are looking for a hotel in a quaint neighborhood but close to sites, dining and shops. We wouldlike to travel outside of shangahi over the weekend. What about Sushou? Is it too close? Should we see something else. How far are the Terracotta Warriors from Shanghai?
We will be ther for business and pleasure. thanks

What do you mean by quaint neighborhood? If you would like a close distance to sites, dining and shops, it is suggested that you have a hotel in the central area, such as the People's Square and Jing'an Temple, or along the Bund.

For a leisure weekend, either Suzhou and Hangzhou will be recommended, maybe plus a water town such as Zhouzhuang and Wuzhen. As for the Terracotta Warriors, you should take a night train for about 13 hours or a 2-hour flight to Xian, and vice versa.
