Is your departure city Manila? If yes, you may take a direct flight to Guangzhou as two direct flights from Manila to Guangzhou are available daily. From Guangzhou to Hong Kong, the train is the easiest way for traveling. You can take one at Guangzhou East Railway Station by getting off at Hung Hom station in Kowloon. If taking ferry, you need to go to Shenzhen first by departing from Shekou port, which will be toilsome.
