I will be going to Hebei, Qinhuangdao in May and I would like to travel to Dalian as well. How do I get to Dalian from Hebei and also from Dalian back to Beijing airport? I would like to know the type of transportation available as well as the fare and the timetable so that I could make proper arrangements.

From Qinhuangdao to Dalian, there are three transport methods. It takes around 7hrs and cost about CNY140 per person by bus. By train, you can depart from the Shanhaiguan train station in the Shanhaiguan District of Qinhuangdao city and it takes about 6.5hrs by train T225/T228 to Dalian. One flight NS3201 is operating daily except Saturday on the route and it takes only 1hr. From Dalian back to Beijing, several trains and flights are available each day.
