About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

I'm under 18 and my mother lives in China. I was wondering under what conditions would the government decide NOT to grant the residency permit?
Im worried that if I move back and the government, for whatever reason, decides not to grant me the permit, what do I do?

It depends, Ms.Chen, you can apply for a residence permit living with your mom in China. Generally, they will not deny your application if all required documents are well prepared.
