Hi, my first time travel to shanghai this December with 2 children and i intend to stay in Nanjing Road area, so pls. help me.1. What is the nearest airport to this area? 2. How far is Guangzhou airport to Nanjing Rd area? How do i travel from this airport? Is it safe for a lady with 2 children to travel here?Thank you so much!

Well, there are two airports in Shanghai, namely Shanghai Pudong Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. And Hongqiao Airport is closer to Nanjing Road. Besides, Guangzhou and Shanghai are two different cities, which is about 1800km from each other. From Guangzhou airport to Nanjing Road, you can take a domestic flight to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport firstly and then take an airport shuttle bus or taxi to Nanjing Road. Normally, it’s safe to travel with two children in China. Just take easy.
