About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Hi. My kids (14 yo and 12yo) are planning to visit Hong Kong and shenzen in december this year. We will be staying in hong kong for 5 days and day visit to Schenzen. I understand that malaysians that we do not require visa to enter hong kong. However we will be required to have visa to enter schenzen. Is that right? You were saying that malaysians are required to provide financial statement to enter hong kong. Can you clarify on that ?

yes, you need visa to Shenzhen that you can try to apply at Luo hu Port when arrival or in your country. For Hong Kong, financial statement may be not required if you provide return tickets and hotel reservations for your 5 days in Hong Kong.
