About:Beijing Capital Airport T3

What is the quickest way from T3 to T2 at Beijing airport?

Flying to Philippines via Beijing Capital Airport in April
Arrival: American Airlines from Chicago 11:30 PM 4/22
Depart: Philippine Airlines 1:40 AM 4/23 (2hr 10min layover)

The time span is a bit of a concern. I understand airlines schedule enough time for transfers. Spoke with AA and they said we arrive at T3 island B. Our flight to the Philippines leaves from T2. Since AA and PAL are not code share, we apparently need to claim luggage and re-check in T2. We will also need to get our Boarding Pass in T2 as well (from what I understand). Although I saw a post here saying everything can be done at the Transfer Counter. What I need to know is the proper (and quickest) procedure, so we can make our connection as efficiently as possible.

Also on the way home we have a 7.5 hour layover in BCIA, what are our options at the airport? We get in around 12:30am(via PAL) and leave for Chicago (on AA) just before 8am. Procedures will be helpful here too if they are different from the flight from Chicago.

Thanks in advance for help. (If you have flown to Manila from the US via Beijing, your experience will be especially appreciated.)

After arrive T2, you need to accept the immigration check and then go to claim your luggage. Then take the Cross Terminals Shuttle Bus from T2 to T3. Then you need to recheck in your luggage and get your boarding pass.
When you back home via BCIA, you need to pass through the same procedure. Well, you need to stay in the airport without a visa during the 7.5 hours layover.
Anyway, if you still confused about it, you can ask for the airport staff to help you on you arrival at the airport.

we are arriving at T3 and need to get to T2 for the PAL flight. I saw something about the transfer counter. we need to get to T2 as quickly as possible due to the apparent size of T3, as we only have 2 hrs 10 min to make the connection. I was wondering also about the options at T3 (sorry, didn't make that clear in teh original post) during our 7.5 hour layover.
