First, obtain A Single Status Certificate from Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages in the state where you reside

Second, authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) or its representative office in the state/territory of your residence and its duplicate.

The last step is to be authenticated by China embassy/consulate in Australia according to consular districts.
