About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

I am a Phiippines citizen and wish to visit my boyfriend in HK for 4 days each month --passport,return air ticket and "show money" is OK. But I would prefer to stay at his place --or a hotel (if necessary for HK immigration).

Can anyone help with info regarding any limitation on number of visits per year and need to stay in a hotel?

If your boyfriend sends you an invitation letter and sponsorship letter together with the copy of his Hong Kong ID card, the hotel reservation is not required. Philippines are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for up to 14 days per entry, it is possible for you to visit him each month
