Hi.. I am looking for transportation from Shangri La to Lijiang. I would like to stop and see Tiger Leaping Gorge on the way. Do you know how to go there? I found one block from the TCG web: Lijiang Transport Service Center Bus Station .. Lijiang --> Tiger Leaping Gorge: Every morning, a bus departs to Tiger Leaping Gorge for CNY24 per person. It returns to Lijiang at about 13:30 to 15:00.
But our direction is from Shangri-la - Tiger leaping gorge - Lijiang. Could you please suggest?? Thanks

Hi Ms Fon,
I spoke to chinese agent. There is a bus from Shangri La to Lijiang. I am travelling this direction too on 24-May. There is frequent service. I saw on some website showing, 8am, 9am, etc etc as the journey is not that long.

Dear Ms.Cyooa tea, thanks for reply my mail. my plan is changed a little bit. We decided not going to the shangri la. Because we are worried for the high pressure. We just travel in kunming -dali-lijiang. We still worried for the Jade snow mountain too(in Lijiang). which have the altitudes of at least 4,000 meters. Do you have idea for that?

Based on my experience as a tour guide,the people who suffer High blood presure,Heart disease,Diabetes better not to go to the Snow Mountain and Shangri-la,the high altitude could be a risk.
