About:Map of China Provinces & Cities

Hi. I'll like to take a flight from Shanghai to Chengdu to visit jiu zai gou, er mei shan and qing chen shan, and then go see the panda. After that, I'll like to take a train back to Shanghai, stopping by 1 or 2 more cities in between. I'm planning to make this a 10-days trip, free and easy at a casual pace. I have a couple of questions:

1. do you think I'm packing in too much for 10 days?
2. Which city (or cities) do you recommend i should stop over in my train ride from Chengdu back to Shanghai? What are the places worth visiting in the recommended city (or cities?

Thanks for your help.

1. I think it is a casual trip.
2. you may stop at either Yichang (Three Gorges Dam Project), Wuhan (Yellow Crane Tower, Yangtze River Bridge, East Lake), Nanjing (Confucius Temple, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum) or Suzhou (Humble Administrator's Garden, Lingering Garden, Canglang Pavilion, Garden of Master of Nets, Zhouzhuang, Tiger Hill).
