Hello. I have left my papers at the Vancouver office and have a pickup date for a Chinese visa this Thursday. Do I need to go down and stand in line again for the pickup as I did for the drop off to get a number, or can I just go directly upstairs to be served? Any recommendations on how to do this as quickly as possible as I have to take time off work? Thank you!

Mr.Jim Jam, I don't think it is a big problem, the office hours of the visa office is 09:00-13:00, you can go to pick up your visa during this period on Thursday. if you are afraid that it will takes a long time for you to stand in line again for the pickup as you did for the drop off to get a number, you can have a day off work. You can try to call 604-734-0704 between 14:30-16:00 which are answered by embassy staff to enquire your question.
