About:Chinese Calendar

my birthday is jan 27 1973 which by year makes me an ox, however when i calculate it i show as a rat with a lunar birthday as dec 24 1972 i am wondering how come it does that

The animinal sign changes according to Chinese calendar, lunar birthday we say. So, it is rat.
