Your child can certainly become an HK permanent resident aver orderly residing in HK for at least 7 years. Then you can apply for him HK SAR citizenship. In order to get this, he needs a proof of 7 years continuous ordinary residence in Hong Kong (no specific requirements for live outside of HK)immediately before the date of the application for permanent resident status, such as school documents, official receipts, or bank statements; Travel document showing entry to Hong Kong and current condition of stay in the HKSAR; His Hong Kong birth certificate, Hong Kong permanent identity card of either parent.
