Can anyone recommend Mosque and halal food around Beijing Day Inn Forbidden City?

salam, i will stay at day inn forbidden city with my family, would you inform where is the local mosque that can be visited and also halal food. Highly appreciate for your information.regrds

I think the nearest mosque to your hotel should be the mosque outside of Dongzhimen. For halal food, you may go to Donglaishun Muslim Restaurant at Wangfujing Avenue.
