hello, i'm a philippine passport holder, and currently here in UAE, I have a stop over of atleast 8 hrs in HK, do i need to a visa if i leave the airport to visit some of my relatives in HK?

With Philippines passport, you are not required visa to HK for 14 days. So, just show the Immigration your onward air ticket when arrival.
