Language may be a problem for you to communicate with the sellers in market if you onlu know English. You'd better find an interpreter to help you do shopping.

Unfortunately you will not be able to speak English to bus drivers, taxi drivers or public transportation workers. The best way for English speaking people to travel by themselves is by metro, where they have the station names written in western alphabet. Otherwise, you can of course try to ask some fellow travellers if they can help. If people can speak a little English, then they are usually very willing to help.

In the wholesale markets, it varies a lot, if the shopkeepers can speak any English. It is usually advisable to have an interpreter with you.
