About:Beijing South Railway Station

How to get to Beijing South Railway Station from Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing and from Tianjin Railway Station to cruise ship dock?

My wife and I are considering taking the high-speed train from Beijing to Tianjin. Where our cruise ship will be docked we are staying at the Shangri-La Hotel in downtown Beijing. Can you give us some idea of how the distances are between the hotel area and the train station. And can I assume that we best get to the train station by taxi. Then when we get off the train in Tianjin will we be able to get a taxi from there to the cruise ship docks. Any other advice or tips to make this journey hasslefree would be most helpful.
Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing from you

Is your hotel located at Zizhuyuan Road? If so, I think you could walk to take subway Line 4 and get off at Beijing South Railway Station, which operates frequet trains to Tianjin. If you take a taxi, the distance is about 20km.

Upon arrival in Tianjian, it is easily to hire a taxi driving to the cruise terminal. For saving money, it is suggested that you take the bullet train from Beijing South Railway Station to Tianjin Tanggu Railway Station, althoung only a few of trains are operated.
