About:China Embassy in Thailand

I am currently on business in China and will be issued a letter of invitation for full-time employment with a Chinese company. However, I have to be in Bangkok on business after the invitation letter is issued. Can I apply for the Z visa in the Chinese consulate in Bangkok or will I have to return to the UK to do the visa there after my trip to Bangkok?

If the Invitation Letter of a Duly Authorized Unit is addressed to China Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand, you can apply for a Z visa in Bangkok, please take the Invitation Letter and Alien Work Permit to Thailand for application, if your application is denied, you can go to Chiang Mai or Songkhla to have a try. Otherwise, you have to return to UK to do the visa
